نكهاتنا
تُروى القصص أحيانًا من دون كلمات، في الأيادي الممتدّة نحو الطبق على مائدة الغداء، في رغيف خُبزٍ مُمزّق يُغمّس في زيت وزعتر، في ثمرةٍ ناضجة قُطفت للتوّ من الشجرة، أو في همسة بركةٍ تُقال قبل أن تبدأ الوجبة.
من خلال الطعام، يتعلّم كثيرون منّا أولى دروس العناية. نتربّى على أن مشاركة الطعام مع الأهل والأصدقاء فعلٌ مُقدّس.ونتعلّم مع الوقت أن الجوع لا يعني دائمًا الحاجة إلى الطعام، وأن التغذية قد تأتي أحيانًا في هيئة محبة أو كرم أو مقاومة أو حتى حزن.
العدد التاسع هو تحيّة للغة الطعام متعددة الحواس. فالأكل لا يُتذوّق فحسب؛ بل يُشمّ، ويُلمس، ويُرى، ويُسمع أحيانًا. في هذا العدد، نروي حكايات الأطباق والعادات التي تصل الماضي بالحاضر، والأرض بالمائدة، والحبّ بالفقد، والطعام بالفعل السياسي.
هذا العدد دعوة للتأمّل في ما تحمله وصفاتنا الموروثة وممارساتنا من معانٍ تتجاوز المكوّنات والتقنيات. وهو أيضًا شهادة على أن الطعام لا يغذّي الأجساد فحسب، بل يسند الذاكرة والأمل أيضًا.
نأمل أن يكون هذا العدد زادًا لكم، بأكثر من معنى.
